Today, I'm taking you to discover the "Create your interval exercise" feature!
Ideal for improving your performance, you can create both short exercises and long sessions! Let's go, HOP! Let's get started!
In this new version, we have simplified the creation of this exercise. In the "home" tab, simply scroll down to "Create my sessions" and click on MY SESSIONS. On this page, you'll find all your already created sessions. If you want to add one, simply click on CREATE A SESSION.
An interval exercise consists of alternating fast phases and slow phases. Depending on the duration of the fast phases, you will work different characteristics of your body (speed, endurance, recovery). To learn all about intervals, you can read this advice written by our coach Philippe Propage.
But before you start an interval workout, it is very important to warm up by running at your comfort pace or by walking briskly. That's why the application first asks you to enter a warm-up duration or distance.
Then enter the characteristics of your exercise: the duration of your fast phases (actions) and your slow phases (rest), then the number of repetitions. On the next screen, an option allows you to repeat this exercise several times by setting a rest time between 2 exercises.
Finally, enter your recovery time to be done at a comfortable pace to avoid soreness.
Your session is ready, it's your turn!
Save as many sessions as you want in your library and find them in "MY CUSTOMIZED SESSIONS"!
