Does Decathlon Coach support your running, walking, and cycling sessions? And sometimes, does the app shut down, stopping your sessions or cutting off GPS? Don't worry! This is simply due to your phone’s battery saver settings.
Why does this happen, and how does it work? Here’s everything you need to know, plus the best tips to train smoothly with our app.
HOW DOES DECATHLON COACH WORK?
Apps that use messaging systems, like emails, require minimal resources. However, our app needs to manage GPS, processor, Bluetooth, and more to function effectively.
More resources mean more battery consumption! As you can guess, your phone’s battery usage depends on the data being processed by the app you’re using.
Depending on the brand or model, battery-saving systems may unexpectedly shut down either the app or specific functions like GPS. As a result, the app crashes, pauses automatically, and your route may be inaccurate or missing from your session summary.
SO, WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Simply disable battery saver mode to get the most out of your app. Below is a list of the most affected models and the steps to adjust their settings. Let’s go! It’s your turn!
